I live in South Africa and work mostly as a freelance science writer when I'm not running around taking photographs, compiling crosswords and doing sketches to keep Canis lupus from the door. Sciencewise my main fields of interest are genetics, medicine and other biological sciences, and especially truly strange critters that would get SF stories rejected for being too weird to be credible. ;) Quote
