Brian Dwight Posted December 3, 2007 Report Posted December 3, 2007 Hey there everyone, Brian here in N. Florida. Found the site with a MSN search. I've been building electrolyzers for some 16 months or so. Many times in that period I would liked to have been able to asked some questions. Today is one of those times. I use 316 perforated stainless. All other hardware is 316 also. Potassium hydroxide is electrolyte. I've read where only 2 volts is needed. I make 3 four volt cells suppose to make more. I put 12 volts 30 amps and still don't make as much as it should. Then I read where 1000 volts plused. Anyway, if I wanted to coat a piece of hardware that's in the electrolyte on the anode side to prevent the lost of current, to insulate a connector for arching. Thanks, Brian Quote
