:) Hello and thank you!

I have never seen anything quite like Hypography. I'm already excited about becoming a member!

I suppose I have to introduce myself (which sometimes makes me nervous :) ).

My name is Adriana, and I am 15. I was born in Michigan, but now I live in South Carolina...

I love school, especially chemistry, biology, NJROTC, and band. I hope to become an astronaut (mission specialist) someday!

Please tell me if I do something I'm not supposed to do--I'm new, so I am unsure about everything.

You seem to be doing everything right so far.

The next part is the important part - be willing to share your views, expand your horizons, take some criticism, learn new things, and have FUN!!

Welcome to our Forums, and we hope you enjoy yourself while you're here!!

Oh, and just for the record... how did you end up in South Carolina after being born in Michigan? Did your dad get lost on the way home from the hospital? Or were there a few stops in between?

:) Most of my mom's family lived in South Carolina, and on our visits here we met such friendly people and loved the warm climate, so we moved here seven years ago.

It's so ironic: most of our family who lived in South Carolina have moved far, far away, and now South Carolina is so cold!

I played trumpet for four years in marching band (and symphonic band, and jazz band, and pit orchestra, and german oompah band). So, how many trumpet players does it take to screw in a light bulb?

How kewl! We could be a whole band/symphony or something.

I played in band too. I played Alto Saxophone from 5th grade thru 9th. :D

Ya' Tormod, I did attempt to learn to play guitar from about 13-14 yrs of age. Of course it was all these

righty's tryin' to teach me to be a righty when I'm a lefty. I never did try the gig like Jimi did by reversing

his right handed guitar and play left handed. Of course my real impediment was always tuning it. :( I

then learned that I must be tone deaf. Now I just appreciate music! :hyper:

Two answers are accepted:

one, he holds it up and the world revolves around him.

five, one to screw it in and four to tell him how much better they could've done it.

What is the difference between an oboe and a basson?

Brass and ww is for sissies - REAL musicians play the guitar.

Ya ELECTRIC! With a tube, er excuse me Tormod, a VALVE amp!

Welcome Adriana!

Yes welcome to our little gathering. You mention being impressed with what you saw here. Just wondering which parts caught your eye?

And as Irish said, just jump in and have some fun in our discussions. Remember we are all here because we enjoy discussing things and learning from each other.
