pgrmdave Posted January 29, 2005 Report Posted January 29, 2005 It has come to my attention that a number of our members are from the relatively small state of New Jersey:beccarebzadojlamyselfTim_LouDrakon1323 -location gathered from their profilesWhile beccareb, zadojla, and myself are all very intertwined, I was wondering, does NJ earn the distinction of having the densest population of hypographers? If so, what is it about our lovely Garden State that is so special? Quote
zadojla Posted January 29, 2005 Report Posted January 29, 2005 While beccareb, zadojla, and myself are all very intertwined, There's a visual I didn't want! I was wondering, does NJ earn the distinction of having the densest population of hypographers? If so, what is it about our lovely Garden State that is so special?I'm sure there are other hypographers that would contend we are the densest. Quote
Tormod Posted January 29, 2005 Report Posted January 29, 2005 I heard that they can get pretty dense in other states, too. Virginia comes to mind. *duck* :) Quote
Drakon1323 Posted January 29, 2005 Report Posted January 29, 2005 .... If so, what is it about our lovely Garden State that is so special?I think theres something in the water.:) :) Quote
OpenMind5 Posted January 29, 2005 Report Posted January 29, 2005 Interesting, maybe all of you are some goverment experiment gone aray....hmmmmm Watch out for the men in the black suits :) OP5 Quote
beccareb Posted February 1, 2005 Report Posted February 1, 2005 I think theres something in the water. That wouldn't be quite so amusing if our water hadn't been proven to have too much uranium in it.... Quote
pgrmdave Posted February 1, 2005 Author Report Posted February 1, 2005 Uranium enriched water - just pre-emptive chemo-therapy! Quote
IrishEyes Posted February 1, 2005 Report Posted February 1, 2005 I heard that they can get pretty dense in other states, too. Virginia comes to mind. *duck* :hyper:Thanks, I needed to hear that. :D I feel kinda bad though, isn't Deamonstar from here too? Quote
Tormod Posted February 1, 2005 Report Posted February 1, 2005 Oh, you're still alive, eh? Hm...the ban didn't work too well, then. :hyper: Quote
Fishteacher73 Posted February 1, 2005 Report Posted February 1, 2005 Maybe Edison just had tons of illigetimate love children that are now starting a grassroots campaign to think again.....I can see the movie trailer now...IT CAME FROM THE GARDEN STATE! Quote
pgrmdave Posted February 2, 2005 Author Report Posted February 2, 2005 Some New Jersey stuff:http://www.mistupid.com/facts/page068.htm - factshttp://soli.inav.net/~catalyst/Humor/jersey.htm - "you know you're from New Jersey when..." Quote
beccareb Posted February 2, 2005 Report Posted February 2, 2005 "you know you're from New Jersey when..." I never thought of people from where I live as really being Jersey people, but I discover that I do have traits that betray me as a New Jersian. Quote
pgrmdave Posted February 2, 2005 Author Report Posted February 2, 2005 I wish I knew more about South Jersey, even if they do root for the Flyers. It really is quite different, from what I hear. Quote
Buffy Posted February 2, 2005 Report Posted February 2, 2005 I never thought of people from where I live as really being Jersey people, but I discover that I do have traits that betray me as a New Jersian. Not from Jersey, but my dad lived in Long Branch for a few years, so still got a big kick out of this list, although I have to admit: like Becca, the most distinguishing thing to me about my friends from New Jersey is how *normal* they are, and how hard they are to pick out of a crowd. Having spent a bit of time in NYC though, I've definitely noticed this strange look that's a combo of consternation and discomfort when a Manhattanite slurs "BeeNTee".... Jersey rocks!
