just thought i would say hi and that i am no stranger to forum, having been on a couple other one for years. i came acrossed this one since i needed something that would challenge my mind. i work two almost no brainer jobs and feel that i have lost some of my potential simply because i haven't had to think about much. i'm in the military so it's more like do what your told, and usually there are no questions. so, i've kinda been outta the loop as far as challenging myself.

but enough of that. my actual name is 'Will'. i've chose 'Tolouse' simply for the fact that i have been speak and study Spanish, French, German, a little Italian and Russian. and the Name 'Tolouse' appeals to me

other than that, i play the Cajun French Accordian, Sing, and am a public speaker among holding down 2 jobs.

well, that's it. if there is any questions, feel free to ask.

I will just call you Tolouse. Do you play zydeco? I love that stuff! Not exactly widely played on radio 'round here in the PNW. :read: Welcome aboard in any regard, and let the mind probing begin. ;) :hihi:

Do you need to go to war?

i'm at a shore duty station. although, i am in a deployable billet, i haven't been able to go for medical reasons. i'm to have surgery in about a month and half, so they consider me non-deployable. i've been in the Navy for over 8 years though, and i don't mind it. they actually have pretty good schools. i work on secure computer networks and communications. anything and everything from ATM switches to global communications to cisco routers, etc.

i'm actually an electrician with a really, really high clearance... so, i really can't say much more than that.

i was actually looking up some stuff for sociology, and didn't know it actually falls under the 'science' category. i have studied psychology (on my own), and am also interested in the sociology area also.

well, let the probing begin.

not really an officer, i'll just stay enlisted. its better that way. as far as reading is concerned, i have only my experience as i don't really do too much reading. i actually study people and take notes of my observances. so, its most likely i won't be using too many scientific terms, as i really don't know any... yet...

anyways, thanks for the welcomes

a bit more about myself

i am what the MBTI termed for me, an INFJ (Counselor)

some details concerning NF's;

The iNtuitive Feeler (NF)Empathist

Relationships are the central concern for the existence of the intuitive feeling (EMPATHIST) type. Values are what matter in life.

As an EMPATHIST you strive for a special union, a mystical connection, a knowledge of the other that is so profound that words aren't needed for communication. The EMPATHIST wants to make a mystical connection with one special partner: growing, learning, understanding, maturing, as a continuous process throughout life.

Coming to know oneself, coming to understand one's needs, one's fears, one's strengths, one's intuition, one's sensitivity: that is the mission of the EMPATHIST.

The EMPATHIST spares no time, energy or commitment in relationships. The EMPATHIST will compromise all other parts of life for the sake of caring, for the sake of satisfying the life-mission.

The EMPATHIST hopes to find a partner to share life's journey. The EMPATHIST seeks a fellow pilgrim open enough and flexible enough to encounter self and mate without pretense or facade, to embrace the unfolding process without reservation, to love unconditionally, to accept another totally and to be accepted in return.

The EMPATHIST generally sees this lifetime as an interlude, a preface to some more cosmic form of existence and being.

Joan of Arc was an EMPATHIST. They thought she was crazy and they burned her at the stake. EMPATHISTs: take this as a serious harbinger of the fate that befalls you idealistic souls who search for a flawless relationship, especially with any of the other temperamental types!

The EMPATHIST is romance personified. The phrase ``falling in love'' was certainly coined to describe this type. Love may come with a glance, a single word.

The object of an EMPATHIST's affection will be called ``dear'' and ``honey'' and original pet names. ``I love you'' will punctuate each phone conversation and note. The EMPATHIST wants to spend every moment with the loved one or at least a lot of time. Taking care of the mate is a reflexive activity for EMPATHISTs, and gift giving is a natural part of any EMPATHIST love relationship.

The EMPATHIST is usually more interested in romantic possibilities than in the day-to-day reality of relationships. Thus, when disillusionment strikes, when the relationship degenerates to humdrum predictability and staleness, the EMPATHIST may immediately begin eying the greener grass on the other side of the fence. Then the honeymoon is usually over for good!

The EMPATHIST can use that characteristic sensitivity to tune in to every ripple of mood and sentiment in a mate. Or the EMPATHIST can become destructively hypersensitive and suspicious. In the course of any relationship, both modes usually occur.

For the EMPATHIST, sex is fraught with meaning. The EMPATHIST overwhelmed by love aches for union. The EMPATHIST, angry about some routine matter, can't think about sex. Everything must be right, the mood, the setting, the person. Sex may always be an on-again, off-again thing for EMPATHISTs in the usual up and down love relationship.

The EMPATHIST's conflicts with all the other types will revolve around definitions of the words relationship and love. The EMPATHIST's meaning for these terms is central to the EMPATHIST identity. The EMPATHIST's frustration and pain over missed communications and hurt feelings are totally incomprehensible to all the other types.

A chronically broken heart is a way of life for many searching, seeking EMPATHISTs.

thanks. for a while, i was holding down 3 very active jobs, but eventually had to give one of them up

science have always thrilled me though, but i would describe myself as more the astronaut in that aspect than the astrologer as in it is easier for me to observe the experimentation than describe what happens

i love testing theory though, just to see what happens

as for the "i",

i make a lot of "i" statements and usually from my own point of view, but i have found a while back that i have to put down what i've observed rather quickly since 2 of the 3 nodes i am at throughout the day are at either of my 2 jobs and i get interrupted quiet a bit

when i am at home though, i chill out and relax after the day is through, and play WoW (i'm still a n00b though, lvl 12 night elf)

but only after my 1-2 hr accordian practice i have scheduled to do every day

i've had my accordian for the last couple of years, and i have found that i still need to break it in more

i get bored rather easily though, unless i come across anything that catches my interest like a certain discussion i may take an interest in (i've been reading the Global Warming thread quiet a bit), but that i contribute to my line of work, not being able to do my job, and being at a station throughout the whole day kinda gets to me. and i'm normally a very active person anyways, even being introverted

i do however, need a lot of solitude though as social gatherings tend to drain me

that's me in a nutshell though

i speak russian and french (more then a little, not enough to mediocre), a little ancient egyptian (well no real wrong way of speaking it, as we don't have any idea as to the pronunciation of most words. we can guess pretty well though) understand Polish enough to get around, too. But yeah, cool name that's for sure.

Funny, first time i read your name and that you are in the forces, i associated it with Tula (and you know what that city is famous for :eek_big: )

i'm still a n00b though, lvl 12 night elf

pshht, i am not even a WoW guy, in fact i hate WoW, but in 2 days of playing a new character i created on my friend's account, i was a level 34 warrior.... (i haven't played the game since, still don't care for it)

I like you using 'i' for 'I' Do you think the internet will destroy the silly capitalisation?

I very rarely capitalize "i" in the middle of the sentence, i do it out of my personal beliefs that "i" is no more of a noun as "you" "them" or "us" are... it is silly to capitalize it, i agree!
