questor Posted December 15, 2007 Author Report Posted December 15, 2007 Mike, I hope you are eating low fat hotdogs. Thanks for giving your traits for the optimum man. Iwould imagine you also respect the man as well as the woman? When you say share the wealth, are you talking about giving your money or clothing to people poorer than yourself? Would you expand upon that philosophy a little? How much should one give? And under what circumstances? Quote
Mike C Posted December 16, 2007 Report Posted December 16, 2007 Mike, I hope you are eating low fat hotdogs. Thanks for giving your traits for the optimum man. Iwould imagine you also respect the man as well as the woman? When you say share the wealth, are you talking about giving your money or clothing to people poorer than yourself? Would you expand upon that philosophy a little? How much should one give? And under what circumstances? Yes, I respect the males but they play a 'secondary' role in Nature like protecting the females, helping feed the newborns and acting as 'decoys' to draw away any predators. About 'sharing the wealth':When I lived in Detroit MI and had my own house and organic garden, in a drug neighborhood, I had to move out because it got to be too hazardous to stay. Having my own house and garden, I was able to give to my chariities about 25% 0f my income. So after being forced to move, I now have to live in a senior subsidized apartment and have no garden. This added cost to my living here has created a shortage for donations because this reduced my uneeded income by about $4000. So now I cannot donate more than a couple of hundred where before I was able to donate about $3000 to $3600 that was about 20-30%. By sharing the wealth, I mean giving away about 95% or being taxed for that amount (our government is running in the red) for the highest earners (billionaires) and then having this 'excess income scaled down to the lowest earners at about 5%.The tax rebels should be grateful that our government creates monopolies for the high earners (patent and copyrights) that can afford to pay the high taxes. The key to sharing the wealth is the amount of income that the person does not 'need' for living expenses. Mike C Quote
questor Posted December 16, 2007 Author Report Posted December 16, 2007 Mike, I commend you for giving to your fellow man. I'm curious about people who are very generous, so if you don't mind I'll ask a few questions. When you give, are you certain where the money goes and what the recipient does with it? Do you give money or clothes and food? What do you receive in return for your gift? Do you think it is best to give a hand-up or a hand-out? Quote

I gave to the people that supported my beliefs in Nature such as Animal Rights Groups and the Environmental Groups. This included the politicians that supported these people. Mike C Quote
questor Posted December 17, 2007 Author Report Posted December 17, 2007 Mike, do you ever wonder what those people did with that money? Maybe a nice steak dinner or a new fur coat? Quote
Mike C Posted December 19, 2007 Report Posted December 19, 2007 Mike, do you ever wonder what those people did with that money? Maybe a nice steak dinner or a new fur coat? I did not contribute to the 'overpaid' management like some of these charities have. Mike C Quote
