TruthChaser Posted January 2, 2008 Report Posted January 2, 2008 Hi there Looking forward to joining in on some threads. Hopefully I will learn something and mayne help others refine their learning too. All people are potential teachers (either what to do or not to do: what to believe or not to believe) and all students should be balanced thinkers. Hope to connect neurons with some of you soon. Jet2 Posted January 2, 2008 Report Posted January 2, 2008 Hi Truthchaser, So you 're chasing truth. It's gotta be a long run in front then. All people are potential teachers and all students should be balanced thinkers. To me I think all people are life-long students and all teachers should be balances thinkers. Welcome abroad! Once you're in, you're connected. Quote

QUOTE] I agree... it works both ways. In a sense, all people have the potential to teach me something... whether it be what to do or not to do etc... and yes, therefore I have the potential to teach others. At the same time we are all essentially students. Either way, we should always strive to be balanced thinkers. Thanks for the welcome. Quote

TruthChaser Posted January 3, 2008 Author Report Posted January 3, 2008 Hey there... thanks. How do I get those quirky little quotes to come up when I post a messag?e (like your Epictetus one). Quote
freeztar Posted January 3, 2008 Report Posted January 3, 2008 Hey there... thanks. How do I get those quirky little quotes to come up when I post a messag?e (like your Epictetus one). Hey TC,Here's how you do quotes. Simply press the quote button in the bottom right of this window and the entire post will be quoted by surrounding all of the text with the following tags:Text(you do not include the "1" character, but I did so to keep it from working) The BBcode commands are always in []'s and can be seen by quoting the post. :shade: Quote
Pyrotex Posted January 3, 2008 Report Posted January 3, 2008 Hey there... thanks. How do I get those quirky little quotes to come up when I post a messag?e (like your Epictetus one).Aha! You want to know how to change the "Signature" at the bottom of each of your posts. Like my quote from Epictetus. Well, in upper left corner of Hypo window, will be be "USER CP" {control panel}. Click that link. Down the left side will be a number of buttons, and one will be "Change Signature". Click that link. You will get a little text window. Whatever you put in it will appear at the bottom of every one of your posts. Quote
TruthChaser Posted January 4, 2008 Author Report Posted January 4, 2008 Thanks Pyro... all the help I needed. To the general people out there: On another note;I have been wondering a bit lately about the whole evolution talk... there's a significant difference between natural selection and the idea of evolution of higher species (in the way DNA functions).
