That's odd. I can see maybe 6 and 2/3rds months... Six pints of bitter, and quickly please, the world's about to end, :)Buffy Quote

REASON Posted November 7, 2008 Report Posted November 7, 2008 To think our forefathers fought anddied for the right for our nation to be a Christian nation--and to have thisman say with pride that we are no longer that. How far this nation has comefrom what our founding fathers intended it to be.:epizza: Obviously this Jackass has no clue of what the founding fathers of this nation intended. This is just another religious myth. It is summed up in one statement in the First Amendment to the United States Constitution: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,..... The word "Christian" isn't mentioned once.It couldn't be more clear. And this Revelations anti-Christ nonsense.....:) My prediction - Delusional people like this will stop at nothing to undermine any positive change or bit of progress achieved under this new president and administration, and will magnify and demonize every minor setback or misstep they become aware of. They will do this not because they believe it is in the best interest of the nation, but because they can't stand the notion of success from anything they consider outside of their own ideology. They will seek to promote failure, and will even willingly distort reality to do so. These are not Christ-like behaviors. So who is really the anti-Christ? Quote

Moontanman Posted November 7, 2008 Report Posted November 7, 2008 I openly invite folks with these ideologies to come and join Hypography! If their threads can hold weight, then they can continue to spin their web. If not, they'll perish at the hand of reason. Parietal asymmetry failed to discriminate between the conditions. :phones: These people do not need us, John Tisdale or some other prophet told them god said it, and they believe it with out question. We are the devils disciples and should be at best ignored and at worst killed for our refusal to see the truth. Recently I saw another friend seduced into this belief system, an other wise intelligent woman who used to make her own decisions and think her own thoughts. It's genuinely scary to see this type of gestalt slowly creep up and take over intelligent minds. I look forward to them drinking the Koolaid and getting it over with. Quote
pamela Posted November 7, 2008 Report Posted November 7, 2008 Well, I for one, Freeztar, would not want them here at Hypography. There is no reasonable way or logical for that matter, to break through that twisted religious close minded belief. This Tisdale cat has really got some nerve, hypnotizing these weak minded sheeple. What a NICE Christian, to promote such hatred and contempt and disdain for his fellow man.I have read alot of literature in my life and the book of revelations is one of them. No where in that text, does it claim what this guy is professing that it does. This is nothing more than a smear campaign of sorts, and only serves to further reinforce to people of intelligence, that religion does more harm than good. Quote
