GeneSwab, from Sorenson Genomics in Salt Lake City, is now selling home paternity kits, in the family planning aisles of Rite-Aid stores.

No more need to go on the Maury Povich Show.

According to the makers of GeneSwab, now people have access to a quick and relatively inexpensive paternity test w/ over 99% accuracy.

 

The Identigene genetic testing kit costs $29.99. The cost to analyze the swabs is $119, and results are provided within five days by mail, fax or on a password-protected Web site.

 

There are an estimated 1.6 million American men who are paying child support for a child that isn't theirs. :turtle: (biologically speaking)
