Hi,

Ive been advised that the Peltier probably wouldnt be effective due to its low voltage output, so have been told to look into using a battery with some kind of thermal sensor connected to a 555 timer???

I have no idea where to look!!

Help!!

It would depend on the peltier's size the type used in 12v coolers puts out enough to run a small 12v motor (such as the one that is in the cooler to cool the hot side of the peltier). I bought a small cheapy cooler a few years back for $12 new...couldn't resist the temptation to see how ti worked....tore it apart and I've been playing with the guts ever since......lots o fun!
