Count Posted January 26, 2008 Report Posted January 26, 2008 Ok, so I'm not really from Texas or anywhere near. But that doesn't spoil a good, enthusiastic cowboy-styled HOWDY, does it? Well, anyway, I'm Count. I'm an English freak, and an avid math lover. I'm not that crazy about science, but I love a good discussion. I like alternate theories a lot, good fodder for creativity, a good plot for a story in the making. Cheers, Count Quote
CraigD Posted January 26, 2008 Report Posted January 26, 2008 HOWDY count! Welcome to hypography! Even though we don’t break it out into its own forum, I think you’ll find you’ve come to the right place for recreational math – you can count on a good crowd to kick around any pure math fancy you’d care to post in the Physics and Math forum, and can even use 6576 to write it in a slick, pretty way. :Glasses: I’d recommend a long browse through this forum, as some of the threads, even the short ones (eg: (shameless plug) 3203) are pretty deep stuff. Of course, we’re overflowing with enthusiastic science fiction readers and writers here, and have even forayed into collaborative science fiction, the result being the enormous 6441 thread. So enjoy, read, post  Quote

Michaelangelica Posted January 29, 2008 Report Posted January 29, 2008 It's OKI'm the only one here that thinks maths is a waste of time, energy and educational resources. Unless you want to build bridges or sling things around the universe. Quote
