paigetheoracle Posted March 18, 2008 Report Posted March 18, 2008 I've written a book teaching English, that I'm trying to get feedback on (Preview material at Lulu.com, under Education and Language in 'Buy' section: 'Logic Lists English' by Tony Sandy). After reading an article in The Herald recently about music (Daily Mail, February 9th 'Music? It's Childs play') and its effects on learning, I wondered if anybody thinks my material would work better, if treated this way? It is mostly columns of rhyming words, so I wondered if singing it or some form of musical accompaniment, would make it more palatable and even effective than repeating the words alone i.e. bring in emotion, rather than just visual stimulus or chanting. Any thoughts out there on the subject?:phones: Quote
