You got me on that one, I had no clue! Here's one!

Well, here's a poke at you

You're gonna choke on it too

You're gonna lose that smile

:eek2:

I Can See for Miles - The Who

Good prep for the Superbowl!

No need for lyrics on this one: name the song by the same group that is the shortest R&R song ever recorded.... Extra credit: Its official length on the album...

Bob Dylan did the first really long record - Like A Rolling Stone - I think it was four minutes,

That's a great trivia question. I've thunk on it for a bit and come to terms with the fact that I don't know off the top of my head. I'd have to research it, which isn't in the spirit of this thread.

I'll bet once the answer is revealed I'll do one of these - :phones:

Here's one to think on while I come up with a real hard one.

Get your feet to the floor, everybody rock and roll

You've got nothing to lose just the rhythm and blues, that's all, yeah

We're gonna feel ok

We'll pick you up and take you away

Get down tonight.

Good try turtle, I'll give you a clue, Cities in Flight by James Blish, was used as the idea behind this bands recuring album cover theme.

Yup, that's the one, here's another, similar in a way

:turtle:

A-checkin' out the halls / Makin' sure the coast is clear

Lookin' in the stalls / No, there ain't nobody here

Oh, my buddy Fang, and me and Paul

To get caught would surely be the death of us all

:turtle:

Only the orignal band counts no covers!

BTW Buffy, 11 seconds, isn't cold weather boring?

You get a cookie! :turtle:

Extra, extra credit: How many songs did The Who play at the Superbowl that were NOT theme music from one of the CSI television series on CBS (which broadcast the Superbowl...)?

And put in your earplugs, put on your eyeshades, you know where to put the cork, :turtle:

Ok, for any of the ladies who were teeny boppers in the late 60's here is good one.

"Children, behave!"

That's what they say when we're together.

"And watch how you play!"

They don't understand.

Tiffany - Alone now

I think I was about 10 when my sister played that tape blaring through the house 20 times a day. It reminds me of Luka by Suzanne Vega because, you know, the radio held 2 tapes :earth:

:earth:

I was going to say the same thing, jokingly.

Just to be sure, you do know that Tiffany version is a cover, right? :eek2:

That Tiffany version is *definitely* on my least favorite songs list. I think it makes the top ten even. I think I decided that after hearing it for the 74,097 time, or maybe it was the 174,097 time, I forget. :jab: :turtle:
