Once a jolly swagman camped by a billbong

Under the shade of a Coolibah tree

and he sang as he watched and waited till his billy boiled

you'll come a waltzing Matilda with me.

I have no clue dude, I've heard of a song called "Waltzing Matilida", I knew a girl named Matilida but I have never heard the song!

That is it. Waltzing Matilida, by Rolf Harris

I realy like the way he explains this.

it is a song about an Australian Hobo i guess you'd call him.He wanders through the bush land of Australia and he takes all of his meager belongings wrapped up in an old blanket whitch is strung across his shoulders with an old piece of twine and this is called his swag. hence the name swagman' date=' now affectionately or otherwise he refers to his swag as Matilda, its like his only companion as he wanders through the bush he finds himself talking to it as if its a real person. So the term Waltzing Matilda is nothing to do with dancing at all, it means in fact carrying this thing on your back though the long lonely stretches of the Australian bush.

A couple of other terms. a Billabong is a pool of deep water, a billy is a little tin can they boil the tea in, a jumbuck is a sheep, err tucker bag is a bag for carring tucker, food bag tucker is sort of like a knapsack. [/quote']

Well the idea of the hobo is part of Americana too, very similar in many ways.

My Matilda had flaming read hair, blue eyes, a sweet smile and was covered in freckles. She should have had a song, :D

How about this one?

:singer:

And now our bodies are oh so close and tight, it never felt so good, it never felt so right

And we're glowin' like the metal on the edge of a knife, glowin' like the metal on the edge of a knife

Only you, can pull me through

One more

But there I was, I was taken to a place, the hall of the mountain kings

I stood high upon a mountain top, naked to the world

In front of every kind of girl, there was

black ones, round ones, big ones, crazy ones...

:naughty:

Spill the Wine - War

How about...

The gardener plants an evergreen

Whilst trampling on a flower.

I chase the wind of a prism ship

To taste the sweet and sour. :turtle:
