Yeah, I used to hear it all the time and crack up laughing each time :D

Yup :agree: One of the few that you've given that I actually know!

Speaking of listening now...

:phones:

they could float above the grass in circles if they tried—

a latent power I know they hide...

...this town seems hardly worth our time...

and we'll no longer memorize or rhyme...

too far along in our crime.

:phones:

more recognizable...

:phones:

That feels vagely familiar but I just can't quite get it....

little old lady got mutilated late last night

:phones:

Ahhhh ohhhh werewolves of London!

Here is a good one from the 80's.... name that tune!!!!

:singer:

Well isn't love primitive?

A wild gift that you wanna give

Break out of captivity

And follow me stereo jungle child

Love is the kill

Your heart's still wild

:singer:

This one is The Warrior, by Patty Smyth and Scandal

Try this one, real Rock and Roll, lol

:singer:

You wear those shoes and hose

Dressed up in your momma's clothes

No time for buttons and bows

or daisy chains....

:singer:

This is gonna be hard, even google didn't get this one.... It is circa 1972! Hard to believe I have a song on vinyl that google doesn't know! It was a popular album too! You hear one song off this album at nearly every foot ball game!

Hummm... I don't recall any lyrics like that, but after googling I found a 1963 song that is similar,

you wear those heals and hose

dressed up in your mamma's cloths

You're hip... I'm flipped you're all grown up.

I wonder if it might be a cover.

One thing is sure, your version/song aint on google. Google's not grown up enough I guess ;) The one I found is played by Johnny Horton.

:phones:

Where the skies are so blue... and the government's true

:phones:

Nope, only that one line matches, the name of the song is "Ain't that a Shame" by Gary Glitter but if you google the song you get a set of lyrics that have no connection what so ever with the song on the album, this is strange. Next time we are online togehter PM me, i need to talk....
