I'd like to get into it, but i have little money as it is, with all my other hobbies, so i have to get away from the thought, but this was amazing, so i hope you guys enjoy:

YouTube - Amazing R/C airplane demo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gulv_bvZS94&feature=related

BTW if you are into rc airplanes, the model is available here, if you want to check it out. Fusion Indoor Freestyle RC Plane from Hobby Lobby!

it's not bad, 110 for the model, 180 for transmitter, 65 for receiver, 8.5 for crystal, 48 + 16.5 for servos, 64.60 for motor, 62 for motor controller, 16.5 for battery and 49 for smart charger.... total to about 620 bucks for a ready-to-stunt plane  not too bad, not too bad.... i'd rather have a 1:10 model drift car though...

lol i used to push it a bit in Ace Combat, i want to get a controller for X-Plane, and use that, should be fun, but one of these would just take away more of my time lol, i'd love to, honestly, though...

D@@mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

They didn't make em that manuverable back when I was into R/C aircraft!!!!

Dad had 7 acres of open field and I needed all of it!

Of course electrics back then were a rarity and severly underpowered.

Mine was a repro of a Mustang with an 049 engine, balsa body and wings.

Alexander....I just wanted to let you know thanks to your post I am now the proud owner of a Rafale EDF Delta Wing RC Jet.......

i know, i know, i was really thinking about getting one, but then again.... having other, more expensive hobbies, prevented me from doing that, well that and a car bill and insurance to pay, as well as electricity, phone, internet and cable. ;) i'm gonna be so poor :)

I think, i'd like their SU-27 (Su-27 Russian Knights R/C Model Jet from Hobby Lobby!)

though what i'd really like to see is either a Euro Fighter, or an SU-47, both experimental and extremely maneuverable craft, Euro Fighter, aerodynamically unstable, requires like 65+ computers to keep it in the air. Su-47, new generation of SU, the wings are angled backwards, which gives the model extreme maneuverability, quick take-off, as well as, at the same time the ability to stably fly at mach 2...

My first model plane was from hobby lobby. Made of corrugated plastic, it was nigh indestructible. Had big, flat wings far off the ground - the perfect plane for a beginner.

I’d definitely recommend durability and controllability above all else for a first purchase because the first landing is going to be a crash landing.

I'm on my way over ;)
