arkain101 Posted June 30, 2008 Report Posted June 30, 2008 Hello, I have posted before on this forum which may or may not be displayed in my post count. Previously I have discussed or if you prefer shared my imagination's thoughts and ideas on several areas of physics. However, at times I was unable communicate my ideas effectively enough for a clear understanding. Now that quite some time has passed and due to some recent inspiration I plan to return and continue discussions with other intellectual and experienced minds. To begin it would be best to start with some back story and pre-information to prepare the readers mind to hopefully increase the level of comprehension of what I attempt to communicate. Let's go back in time and look at the transformation of how we looked at the world and reality around us. The experiences one goes through and the requirements to allow one to make those transformations. [keep in mind this is written in a relavent to today form rather than a formal historical fact]There was a time where mankind (excluding the very very few) had not considered the shape of the world in which he lived at any scale larger than that of which he could visual observe. To these people and their minds the world was generally flat and level with the exclusion of land deformations like hills and mountains. There were spherical objects in their enviroment but it was insanity to consider the world was anything like an apple or rock also known as a spherical shape. If we were able to speak to people of this day in age whom believed the world was flat, it would be very difficult for us to explain to them the idea of a spherical world, the reasoning for it, and the facts to support it. It would be difficult for many reasons but I believe we can summerize those area's of difficulty as requesting people to consider their understanding of true reality as a lie or illusion. Then, futhermore, request them to replace their 'truth' with an idea that is considered to be a delusion or lie. Obviously even today this is very hard thing to do. I once stated a principle that asking the typical person (a person who does not venture into personal change) to change their personality, ways, and habbits is equivellent to asking them to kill a part or even the whole of themseleves. For change is like the death of something for the birth of another, like puddy in the shape of a square then formed into a circle. The process and transition time of that change is uncertainty and confusion. This is a state of being we naturally fear, for it leaves us as vulnerable as a child and it is unsafe and could affect our ability to survive or succeed in the face of choices and challenges. A second example that is more relevant to the hypothesis' I will later be getting into is the proposition of special relativity by Albert Einstein in the early 1900's. Today when students and even other accomplished individuals study the principles of Einstein's special relativity it is often a difficult task to try and comprehend the bazaar postulates and propositions. Even for an experienced person studying this theory it is still difficult to mentally comprehend. In order for almost everyone to believe this theory we have to change much about how we think and how we see the world. Anyone who has tried to discuss this concept with someone who has close to zero scientific background knows just how difficult it is not only for one to get another to change their mind and successfuly teach them but also see how difficult it is for one to be capable to attempt to learn of the concepts and change their minds and belief's etc. I understand it has been proven that people literally have to rewire their brain in order to be capable to think of new and different things and understand concepts like special relativity. Ones very awareness and personal experience is entirely related to much of the physical orintation of the brain. I think Einstein was quoted as expressing this process in words similar to the following: "The process of trying to solve a problem is full of confusion, frustration and practice, but the moment one discovers the solution, at once all is seen cleary, and one wonders why they could not see it before" With these examples I hope to have been able to communicate the requirements and methods of how to learn an entirely new way of how to see the world. The importance of humility and keeping an open mind in order for a person to shift into the comprehension of propositions and new concepts. I have gone through some transfiguration of change in order to comprehend the ideas which I want to express further on and this is why I thought a prologue of sorts was important begin with. So we can digest this and I will take my time before continuing. The next post we will begin to move into the hypothesis' I look forward to discussing with all of you. Quote
