IrishEyes Posted November 29, 2005 Report Posted November 29, 2005 This moment is for Gramma.Actually, she's my great-grandmother, better known to many as GG.She passed away about 4 hours ago.She had 13 children, over 40 grandchildren, and too many great-grandkids for me to name, as well as at least 15 great-great-grandchildren (6 of them are mine :) ).She was surrounded by 8 of her children, most of their spouses, grandkids and great-grandkids when she died. She would have been 96 on this Thursday.I know she's no longer in pain, and in our family, her passing is cause for rejoicing, as we believe she is now in Heaven.Still though, I believe she has earned at least this moment, for all of the wonderful things that she did. I'll miss her. Quote
