Hey everybody-

I'm just going to hit Racoon's list....

* Warm greeting

* Name (username is fine, but maybe explain what it means to you)

* How did you find Hypography?

* What are your primary interests? What topics/subject areas?

* What do you want to learn most? Where are you lacking?

* Compliment those who have contributed already, and try to respect everyone's input even if you disagree with it.

*Hello folks! I'm always glad to be around other curiosity-driven cats.

*According to the Y Ching, a Chun Tzu is one who seeks to acquire the power and virtue to recognize the tao, the creative energy that makes life possible. I thought that was pretty cool the first time I read it so it's kinda my thing now, I guess.

*I found Hypography indirectly through some Google searches for Neo-Human Evolution.

*My primary interest is Art. Which to me, means everything. I have zero interest in perfecting a technique, such as painting or drawing. I like Art because it allows me to be constantly searching, creating, and hopefully realizing something bigger than myself. Specifically, I look at...

- Theoretical physics, Hyperspace Theory, Theory of Everything, Logic

- “Religion- whether we choose to name the experience thus or not- is to be lured by the transitory that reveals the transcendent…” (Lynda Sexon)

- Metaphysics

- Existentialism

- Mythology and Mysticism (Joseph Campbell)

- Zen Philosophy, Fundamental ambigiuty

- Transnationalism, Critical Studies (Foucault, Said, Althusser, Fanon, Derrida, Barthes)

- Integral Spirituality (Ken Wilbur)

- I-Ching (Chinese Books of Changes)

- Allan Kaprow (Blurring of Art and Life, Education of the Un-Artist)

*As I see it, nobody is "finished" learning anything, so I'll just say that I want to learn everything.

*Always.
