Hi all,

New, not only to this forum, but biochar in general. Trying to get up to speed and to see what has been learned to date.

My personal interest is that I have a riverbank farm (12 degrees N) on the Caribe side of Nicaragua, in Central America. It is on the edge of a small (300)campesino villiage which has no grid and is accessable only by water. It is recovering rainforest and the soil is not very fertile. Vegetation is lush and bamboo (potential feedstock) is quite common. My neighbors are poor sustinance farmers and I think biochar could improve their future. I would enjoy being a part of that process.

I have also been a member of an intentional community located in the Missouri ozarks for many years.

best regards,

che harmony
