theblackalchemist Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 It is easy to publish news articles at Hypography. Here is a step-by step guide. Note that in order to publish articles you need to be a member of our Editorial User Group. You can request to join this group by going to your UserCP -> Group Memberships. better change that clause..THXTBA
freeztar Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 better change that clause..THXTBA I think there is some confusion here.Member articles and papers are different than news articles. A member article is something that you write yourself. Anyone is able to post these to the correct forum. The news articles (besides news in brief) can only be posted by members of the editorial staff. The reason for this is that the article posted in news forums are automatically added to the portal (main page) of the site. There is a special format that is followed to make everything look good and it would probably require a lot of moderation if we let just anybody post news articles. Hope that helps.
theblackalchemist Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 that helped you think that the articleshttp://hypography.com/forums/search.php?searchid=315542can do in the orginal forums?THXTBA
freeztar Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 that helped you think that the articlesScience Forums - Search Resultscan do in the orginal forums?THXTBA I'm not sure what you are asking. What do you mean by "original forums"?
theblackalchemist Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 it is for exampleastronomy newsmdical newsgeneral science newsetc just askingTBA
Tormod Posted September 16, 2008 Author Report Posted September 16, 2008 No, those are correctly posted in the News in Brief forum. What Freezy means is that your articles (the ones you write yourself!) go in the Member Articles forums. Only press releases or articles written by the editorial staff can be posted in the "Science News" forums (apart from the News in Brief, as you have found out). :)
