Ok we talked on the other thread about the LHC Dr. c said an analogy ( time is like a movie reel going frame by frame )

Like most scientists I believe in something for a reason. In this case, call it a "hunch," but for any form of paranormal activity, such as a premonition, to occur, an image composed of a photon matrix had to be able to travel backwards in time. For that to happen, the future must already be there, developed around what we do in our current present that in turn was developed around what happened in our past. This means time does exist as more than an artificial means to do bookkeeping. It means absolute time exists in the form of frames. The frames must be connected by something just as the frames of a movie are connected by the clear celluloid film. A time machine must be able to vibrate at the frequency of the "celluloid" or what most who believe in it call flux.

Yes, I do have a number of concepts for creating such a device. It takes a lot of work to determine the right geometry, field structures and such. Build the wrong device and hop in, give it a whirl and it could be your last... anything.

STATED BY Dr. Charbonneau

i have to disagree to this this is part of what i said earlier than that

time machines can not physically possibly go backwards. Time is only a conception and not a physical existence, it is a virtual based measure of counting. but it is possible to speed up the things around you buy slowing yourself down

i really want some theorys on this could time travel be possible or can you just speed up time to get to the future??? would there be a way to stop a decline or acceleration of mass ageing??? i can not conseptionalize about traveling or altering time it just does not make sense to me O_O

how can time possible be turned back time is not a physical existance it is not like there are time trails or anything to get. if you could go back in *time* would changes alter the future or would it be and alter existing world like a parallel world in another time period??>???

everyone please post i really am interested in this topic :(

That is what I was telling you about. There is a theory about another perception of time. it was talked about in the book "TimeLine" by Michael Criton

I forget the exact name of it.

Check out the wiki on the grandfather paradox.

This is the same idea that the movie "Back to the Future" is based on.

-D.d-say: Time is merely the space that keeps everything from happening all at once:hihi:

also say: How you go back to now?

:naughty: buy me a ticket on the last train home tonite:singer:

silly philosophers!:D

Oh yeah almost forget

Yes Billy time is existence without existence there is no reason for time.

Build Your Own Time Machine: Science Channel

An interesting one. Also, somewhere on that site, although I couldn't find it, they have a relativity calculator I believe. You could input your speed of like 99.99 percent of speed of light, and if you traveled at that speed for 1 hour, some ridiculous amount of time, years I think, had passed on earth. So, in a way, that's somewhat like traveling into the future.

Edit: The calculator part is in that video actually, and one hour at 99.99 percent the speed on light = 70.7 hours passing on Earth.

Suppose that the only thing created by the BB was a single proton. The proton's field would start expanding creating space time. Now suppose some force suddenly shifted the proton. It's field would start expanding again and the difference between the old still expanding field and the new expanding field would be that Universe's first photon. To change time it would be necessary to some how reverse the expansion of the first field and the new expanding field. Not possible because both fields are expanding at C.

Seems to me that time as we know it is fiction. Travelling back in time is not possible as there is no past, there is nowhere to go. Funny how humans have completely hypnotized themselves to this concept and created industries around it.

I'm gonna be late for work tomorrow and tell my boss" Time is not real, get over it!"

In fact the concept of time has completely enslaved us. Imagine a world where time did not exists, no deadlines, no alarm clocks just us dealing with our reality. Time is not part of reality.
