Tormod Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 So you have a blog! Good. And you want to show it off! Of course. At Hypography you can automatically have the title of your latest blog post show up in information bar above each of your posts. This is a good way to get traffic to your blog! You need to know the address of your RSS feed. If you use wordpress, this address is usually http://mydomain.com/blog/feed/ or something similar. If you have a blog here at Hypography, the correct URL is:http://hypography.com/forums/blogs/YOURNICKNAME/feed/ For example:http://hypography.com/forums/blogs/pyrotex/feed/ shows you Pyrotex' latest blog entries. You need to enter your information in your UserCP here: Science Forums: User CP / Edit Profile All the way at the bottom you will find this form: The result will look like this: If you have multiple blogs you want to feature, you need to make a custom RSS feed which aggregates them. This is beyond the scope of this tutorial. Note that your blog should be of interest to the readership of Hypography, so preferably it should be about science, technology, philosophy, art or related topics. We will not accept links to blogfarms, spamblogs, pyramid schemes, sales pitches or similar content. Please us this feature wisely - that way we don't have to spend time monitoring it, and you get free exposure for your stellar blog! Quote

Tormod Posted September 17, 2008 Author Report Posted September 17, 2008 As long as it has a feed, your last blog entry will be shown. Quote
