Hello.

My name is Edward Martin, and I am a retired professor of biology. I'm very concerned about the community and the harm that may come to it by the propagation of bad science and ignorance. I am interested in global warming - or rather, attempting to correct the myth of global warming. To this end, I have created a website (the link is on my profile) about the truth behind global warming. Please check it out and email me your opinions.

Thanks in advance,

Edward

Interesting website. Sometime we should tackle some point or another.

Meanwhile I'd suggest you browse through "My Belief in GW is Getting Shaky,"

and/or through the Environmental Studies Forum,

...to avoid repeating a debate, and to look for points to add.

...while I browse some of the citations from your essay.

Yours is not an unfamiliar position, or train of logic; but I'd be interested in hearing a scientist address some of the counter arguments and objections, instead of the ususal retorts from free-enterprise zealots.

What was your main area of interest within biology?

How broad or focused was your study?

Thanks,

~SA

Ooh, are you in that category of people who deny that global warming exists? Or are you in the camp that tries to correct people as to the extent of global warming being extremely underexaggerated...?

Anyways, welcome :)
