Michaelangelica Posted September 21, 2008 Report Posted September 21, 2008 This is exactly what we dont want to see in any of these threadsscienceforums.com has some funny threads though. http://forums.hypography.com/physics...lain-mass.html This one made me giggle - I think it is the way they try and appear knowledgable and then spout a load of garbage.A pity about the spelling of knowledgeable, although it is a tough one.Scienceforums.com - Science Forums, The Original PS I just noticed this is really ancient history- 2004So has everyone kissed and made up now?;) Quote
Tormod Posted September 21, 2008 Report Posted September 21, 2008 There was never a discussion between the two forums on this topic. I don't think there is any "ill will" between the managers of the two boards (in fact, I have never been contacted by them and they have not contacted me). Scienceforums.net claim to be the "original" science forums, which is fine but wrong (we launched before them). But who cares? They have a very good science forum, and so do we. There is room for many. Quote
C1ay Posted September 21, 2008 Report Posted September 21, 2008 I'm a regular participant at both and regularly communicate with their admins. I'm aware of no ill will among management, only the various members that get banned here or there. Quote
Flying Binghi Posted September 21, 2008 Report Posted September 21, 2008 There is room for many Six billion people, and counting... IMHO, there is a more room yet ;) Quote
freeztar Posted September 21, 2008 Report Posted September 21, 2008 I'm also not aware of any "bad blood". It's different strokes for different folks. The two forums are run in different styles. Some people like visiting both equally. Others prefer one or the other. Quote
