A reduction in tobacco smuggling would also help reduce health inequalities because low income smokers are more likely to use smuggled tobacco and they are also more likely to quit because of price increases.

 

 

I do not appreciate governments hiding 'tea tax' with good intentions. This is focusing on treating a symptom(smoking) of a larger problem(cast inequality) rater than treating the problem...and yet they say it like we should cheer them on.
