Hmm... seems a bit fanciful to me. They call them "cells", "microbes", "particles" - what are they?!? I can't believe they've had these things for so long, since 2001, yet not done mass spec, assays, x-ray etc. They must know what they are exactly, so they seem to be being deliberately vague. It is interesting, but a link to the paper/presentation notes would be good.
