Quantum Insects?

I Have seen an electron micrograph of a flea with an even smaller insect on the back of it and I was just wondering if these or maybe smaller creatures have any access to weird quantum uncertainty? I am not thinking of viruses or even bacteria but the next step up.

 

Are these creatures adapted to take account of quantum phenomena or am I just wildly underestimating the scale that quantum events occur at in comparison to these animals?

I believe they would be way too large for quantum mechanics weirdness to have any effect on them. To my knowledge, QM is only relevant for subatomic particles.
