alxian Posted February 18, 2005 Report Posted February 18, 2005 http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=21303 i love the way tech is always new until it ships. this tech was heralded years ago but never implimented.. i'm wondering if now that the tech is barely a year away and 2/3 cheaper is my dream of an shdtv 48" monitor (screen in this case) is possible.. secondly glass curves.. droool.. 100" by 40" wrap around display... *has seizure *recovers thirdly glass is nice and breakable.. what about polyalloys? plastic metal which was big news last year by also has yet to find its niche market.. but is also very very expensive per square foot. i'm thinking about a roll up display thats as easy to manage as the pull down projection screen in classrooms but without the projector of course. :D with full resolution the whole way across.. image 300" of pure resolution.. *full relapse Quote
