i woke up laughing. which has got to be the greatest way to wake up besides waking up next to the one you love.

anyway-

i was inside this amazing house with a girl who's name i didn't know. we must have kissed or something, but her dad was coming or something (confusion) so i had to leave. and as i crawled through the glass window on the side door from the garage, i asked her name.

"mary (something that rhymes with mary, like berry, or scary..i don't remember)"

i smiled, and ran down her driveway and into the street.

but her all the cars in her driveway turned into giant, 30foot fat people. so fat they were completely round. giant, round, ball-people. they were angry with me, i guess i wasn't supposed to be in that house. so they rolled their ways down the street destroying everything in their fat path. i laughed too hard to run, so somehow i aquired a car, and drove my way to awake.

it was great.

___I have been racking my brain to try & remember if I ever woke laughing & if I did, I can't remember it. I laugh vicariously through you at the ball-people.

___No new dreams for me, but something from a past vivid dream. Walking in a city area I came out onto a sidewalk & the sidewalk was imprinted with hundreds of foot & shoe prints. Not painted, but like hundreds of people walked on the cement when it was wet & then left to dry. It was the most outstanding feature of the entire dream.

A random memoir of a singular dream.

___I find myself in a building, cement, & I meet a gentleman & he offers me a drink; I accept it & we drink. He bids me follow him into the building & we descend some stairs & some clothing is on the floor; I pick up a jacket that was mine & find a paper of some kind in the pocket. The gentleman urges me on & I follow him into dark corridors until we emerge into an open lighted rather large room. Many people here; children playing a ball game in a clear central court. We walk along the edge of the court to the back of the room where several men huddle around a generator;they can't get it started. I look closely at it and see a small cover plate & pry it open with my large folding knife. Inside is a petcock for the fuel they overlooked; I turn it open & they start the machine. I move off down the other side of the court in the direction I came & there I stop to talk to some old women. The topic turns to shaving & I tell them about my 90 year old Gillette twin edge razor. They question its efficacy, but I assure them it is a good shave. Moving off again, as I cross the court, a large black dog approaches me & I put out my hand which he takes in his mouth & he then leads me back to the first gentleman I encountered. He bids me follow him again & we move deeper into a cavernous basement with many doors & passages; sounds & light from one door but he passes by & I follow. The floor turns to dirt & soon the walls give way first ahead & then to the right as we emerge from under the building onto a hill overlooking a river. The ground is covered in snow & across the river a few buildings with lighted windows. As we move off through the snow on a small path, the gentleman tells me as he nods across the river, "they hardly ever come out". I awake with a start.

they hardly ever come out! that is such a cool way to end such a mysterious dream...but GAHHHH WHO??!?!??! i would have died if that was me, i'm the kind of person who NEEDS to know those things.

i had a pretty crazy dream last night.

running, you know the typical scared running away from something.

a light, a house, i ran through the door. a house full of beautiful women with a backyard like a japanese cliff.

i wont get into detail but it had to have been one of the most magnificent dreams i've ever had. ;)

it was prom day. i was in the movie theatres which was playing the

matrix. with some people i don't know. but it turned into a small

apartment. i had 2 dubs in little bags. i KNEW i was getting on a

plane later for some reason. i put my weed in those metal things that

spin on the toilet paper rolls, you know? don't know why. it reminded

me of a big metal tampon. so then me and these 2 guys left. don't know

who, where, when, or why.

we were walking in this pool that was like the top of a cave. it was

these crazy patterns that you had to follow through inch deep water.

we kept going and it got deeper, so i held the weed outside of the

water above my head and i swam. it got wet of course, and this woman

was suspicious of me. so i went to the bathroom to hide and dry

the weed. i got the weed out to try, but i decided to pack a bowl. and

as i was packing a bowl i decided to pee, so i just started pissing

underneath the sink, and the woman came in. and she stood there

appalled and staring at my dong.

"s-s-....sorry ma'am" i said. and that's when i woke up. with her jaw

dropped, appalled by my dong and pee.

I have had recurring dreams hundreds and hundreds of times over the past 5 or 6 years. They all have to do with water. There were several variations, but the main one was like this: I would slowly "return" to consciousness and find that I was clinging to something, like a thin metal pole. When I look around, I see the the thin metal pole is nearly half a mile high, at least the part I can see over the surface of the water... and it's not really a pole, but more like a giant hair or something... it's larger at the bottom and tapers off at the top.. there are probably a dozen or so around me, sticking out of the water, and the water is endless around me. In contrast, the sun is setting, and the view is spectacular. I feel the wind blowing and my "pole" swaying in the breeze. Also, I know that reality is "above" me - somewhere up in the sky, and even though there is no way to climb up to it, I am frantically pondering a way to escape. This dream I have had over.. and over... and over.

One other that I have had repeatedly is that I am in a closed room, 20 by 20 or so, with white walls and a wood floor with a wood bench around the perimeter of the room attached to the walls (reminds me of a sauna bench). Usually I never noticed whether or not I was alone, but the room would always start to fill up with water. I always would wake up when it reached my knees or so, terrified, knowing that I was going to die, that there was no way out. The last time I had this dream, though, I was sitting there as the water started to rise, I started to think about dying, and then I realized I was holding my father's hand, who was sitting next to me... around the room I noticed my whole family there, even though I didn't look directly at them, only at their hands and that they were all holding hands, too. Then, somehow, I was not holding my father's hand, but a small hand that belonged to a girl I knew about 20 years ago who died as a toddler from leukemia- I had not thought of her or heard anything about her in at least a decade, which is why this was so weird to me. She was an angel. I did not see her, just her hand, which I stared at as in my head she told me not to be afraid of dying. She said that I would die, but not to be afraid. This was right around the time I was leaving the academy, which makes sense why I was thinking so much about dying, but I was so at peace after that dream, and I never had it again, after hundreds of times of having it.

Someone told me once that dreaming about water like that so much meant that I was feeling overwhelmed. I don't know that I believe in interpreting dreams, but it seems like some strange things happen in dreams. Some say that they have to do with things that happen during our day, but I don't know how to explain how Andrea (the baby) got there. After that dream, I wrote her parents a letter and told them that I felt she had visited me in a dream, because that's really what it felt like. Anyway, I haven't had any water dreams since last summer or so.

those are REALLy crazy dreams, but...dreams don't really "mean" anything.

they are random electrical impulses sent out by your brain stem every so often (i forgot the time, 15-50 minutes or something) anyway, so these impulses of memory are sent to the front part of your brain, mashed together for us to interpert. that's often why dreams are so weird and change quite sudden.

if you think about water a lot, chances are higher for you to get an electrical impulse of water. does that make sense?

keep dreaming :naughty:

That doesn't explain where Andrea came from :naughty: But I see what you are saying, here. As I said, I don't believe that dreams "mean" anything, either. However, in the end, it did mean something to me. Irony? Perhaps. Maybe I dream about water so much because I always have to pee at night and always have to get up 2 or 3 times :hihi:

yeah it does! andrea was a random impulse of memory. TOTALLY RANDOM! amazing.

haha that reminds me of a dream i had when i was a kid...

i was in a white room, i was a panning camera, and i was closing in on the figure in the middle of this room. there i stood in my pj's peeing in a toilet. and it felt so good! i was peeing! then i woke up soaked in piss.

ahhh...somehow this memory is beautiful.

haha... that's funny. I've heard of people peeing in their sleep and then waking up soaked before...

there is no setting, that's up to you.

i must have been focusing on this(and not what was around it):

a normal man stops everything he is doing, and his face looks like his mind is twisted with thoughts. he throws his arm back like he's about to pitch, and digs it into his wrist. it is instant, not a slow process. although there is blood, he's searching for something, his face; you can cleary see the agony. i wondered why...i did not understand. how can his wrist be that deep?

he pulls out a giant dna molecule, and the blood is just pouring out like a bucket of paint. he is calmly, yet painfully, changing his dna. putting peices here, throwing some to the floor, and placing others there. i took my eyes off this giant peice of dna, and he is no longer he. it. it shoves the dna back into what must be it's wrist.

"oh, well now i get it"

and i wake.

Speaking of recurring dreams, I keep on getting the whole flying bit. You just stand normally, and kinda throw yourself at the floor. Somehow you miss, and the next moment you're airborne! Fly around, pretty cool, and then wake up.

And in the first ten/fifteen minutes of being awake, your memory of flying is so vivid, that you've just got to try it. I mean, you were flying just now, right? Then you get up on a cupboard, and fling yourself at the floor. Then you fail to miss it. Especially when you're round about eight or nine years old.

Yeah - didn't wet myself in my dreams, but I did have a couple of failed take-off attempts in my youth.

It does help to wake you up, though.
