freeztar Posted December 16, 2008 Report Posted December 16, 2008 Welcome! :) Do you use char in your farming? Quote
nicaguy Posted December 18, 2008 Author Report Posted December 18, 2008 greetings to you each one and thanks for the welcome...as to farm use of char I have only became aware of its potential while here in the states on a supply run and have plans to introduce it to my orchard upon return, leaving this week. so far my enthusiasm is limited to research and learning. charcoal is commonly made in the area and sold as cooking fuel in the town two hours downriver but Ive not heard of its local use horticulturally, but the soil is leached/depleted (6'+ rainfall) so should respond. at least, thats the plan...regards Quote
