theblackalchemist Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 those of us who feel a bit nostalgic and perhaps wise :) and want to select the old look of Hypography....and return to the golden days of yore... to relive it without this rugged look .....Or to those who like the new look, with its shiny features, it's navigation.... As the poll says...your options. Zythryn Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 I really like the new layout. Especially the convenient mini menu in the left margin.Quick access to 'my posts' and the arcade is awesome:) Quote
Tormod Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 Hypography has had around 7-8 redesigns since 2000. It would be nice to keep them all available. But it is a remarkable amount of work that goes into a redesign, and maintaining more than one look will mean choosing looks over features. Quote
freeztar Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 I like the new design, but I do miss the recent posts window on the right. Quote

Tormod Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 Cant we have a team for that? Just thoughts Sure we can. Anyone with proven skills in web design can apply. Quote
theblackalchemist Posted December 19, 2008 Author Report Posted December 19, 2008 Okcan You post a staff position thread for that? Quote
Tormod Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 Seriously. This community has grown to a point where initiative needs to be carried on by our members. It's easy to start a group for those who want to work with the design, content, anything. I frankly don't have the time to manage all these processes. Quote
theblackalchemist Posted December 19, 2008 Author Report Posted December 19, 2008 Just a question...what experience is required? i mean does knowing HTML enough?or is PHP, CSS required  of course they are, how stupid Still we arent getting the desired result are we ?i mean the community is almost divided 50:50 on the issue TBA Quote
