I suppose what matters most here is life experience and life interest.

10 Years of college course work. College is like a candy store for the curious.

Philosophy

Marine Technology

Computer Technologies

Economics. . .truly the most dismal science

8 years in commercial diving

4 years in multiple construction trades

20+ years capitalizing on the PC revolution

I have an eclectic an proactive interest in our planet’s natures, societies, sciences, politics and economies.

Welcome to scienceforums, the only place you know where we have created clusters to calculate efficiency and savings of a proposed piece of technology, wasting more power then the proposed "fix" was going to generate per 1000 people per 10 years :) (hey a week of running a cluster of 4 dozen dual core machines at 60-80% utilization)

looking forward to your posts :P

Welcome TIC, I've done some sport diving and lots of beach combing, does that mean we have something in common? Welcome to the group jump right in the water is fine and the sharks have no teeth!

Ineed we do. Bubble below the surface and you are out of your natural element. Anyone who has ventured "Knows."

Just so you know, commercial divers are not found of SCUBA for work!. We like having a team of professionals on deck doing everyting they can to keep us safe.

pshht, breathing underwater is for girls... and fish.... and mermaids... speaking of which, mermaids always have giant hutspa's, do you think that an overwhelming majority of them have implants? here's something else to ponder since silicone is denser then water, do you think mermaids would sink if they didn't have tails??

for real though, i free dive or at least used to, def have respect for commercial and military divers :)
