pamela Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 touchy subject indeed, belovelifeI believe rape to be a sickness and should be treated as such.Although part of me would agree with your solution to the problem, i could not be in support of it. I would like for the perpetrator to get therapy and meds while he is in prison. We need to have a grasp on what are the triggers that drives such deviant behaviour, whether it is physiological or psychological. There are too many variables out there from being subjected to child abuse at an early age to mental incapacity. Rape hurts on every level for the victim and measures need to be taken to ensure that the person has the coping skills to get through it. There is a fine line between vengence and justice, and it is our responsibility to make sure that the system responds accordingly Quote
belovelife Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 i knowbut when there is less testosterome (from a mans perspective)everything appears differentin a situation the you would feel strongyou instead feel weak(i have a friend that just got a vacetomy)so as before he would be intimidatinghe says he feels intimidated by other meni'm just saying its revesableand the conditioning involved may help phycologicallyand in know the conditioning that occurs that makes such things a realityisn't good for the rapist but if he understood the fear that the girl had he may be less inclined to do it otherwisemabe just pills that stop the production of testosterome or a shotthe idea is that having that hormone makes a man horneynow punetas may get rid of it but if you can't get laidsometime it is seen as an option(albiet a horrible option)just from the mentality so mabe a shot that prevents the buildup of testosterome for a year would be a better option Quote

A vasectomy has no effect what so ever on a mans testosterone levels. For that to happen you must have your testicles surgically removed or cut off. Fear is part of what a rapist likes about raping, understanding his victims fear will only turn him on more. No being able to get laid is not what rape is about, you should really do some research on this. Quote

It just prevents the sperm from being in the semen. Quote
