Jay-qu Posted October 18, 2009 Report Posted October 18, 2009 Well our eyes take about ~7 photons to actually register a 'blip' of light, and they dont have a very good integrating capacity (we see things in real time). This is why we dont see colours of stars very well, but a relatively short exposure onto a camera or CCD (even 1.5sec) will bring out the colour of stars. Quote
