freeztar Posted March 2, 2009 Report Posted March 2, 2009 This post is a little puzzling. Where's the news? Link? It looks like a model someone built in their garage... Quote
Moontanman Posted March 2, 2009 Author Report Posted March 2, 2009 My bad I thought I had a link but it didn't work, here is a couple of links to the controversy surrounding these images. some say they are a total hoax and some say this drone has been seen since the 1980's. Not sure yet who, if anyone, is telling the truth. The Drone UFO Timeline - Explained UFO Blog Quote
paigetheoracle Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 Seen this before but not with the writing on it - makes it 'seem' man-made. Usually it's called a drone and is it flying or cleverly photographed to disguise suspension wires? (Videos would be more convincing but then again film makers can get away with making objects appear to fly that don't). Quote
Moontanman Posted October 8, 2009 Author Report Posted October 8, 2009 This object is astonishing, it's either an obvious hoax or something really unusual. My brother who does photo-shop quite a bit for a living thinks it's fake, he says it's a very good fake but fake none the less. Several, at least at first blush, totally unrelated people have photographed this object in widely separated locations. If it is a hoax it's a conspiracy between several seemingly unconnected people. Of course this is completely possible. It's an odd looking thing and at least one picture sequence seems to show the object being chased by fighter jets. Personally I think it's fake, it's a sad thing to have to say, in this day and age a photo means nothing! 30 years ago a photo was a little harder to fake and fakes were usually quite obvious. Now days a photo of almost anything can be whipped up easily and it will look as real as sunrise. This means that the whole UFO phenomenon is now even harder to make heads or tails of than it was in the beginning. Far from technology helping solve the mystery technology has obfuscated the issue completely. Quote
