Roses are red,

violets are blue

I liked that quatrain,

and... yeah. That's it.

Roses are the crimson medallions of love

Violets erupt madly in summer's still heat

Quatrains in Hypo are two for a penny

And I'm glad you liked my poem, Boerseun! :hihi:

Woke up one day....

At a signal, the pulsing lasers slash at the matrix of Gaia

Guitar strings garotte the flailing chakras of Chaos

Machine fun tracers punctuate mandalas and samadhi

Drums go silent, the spirit of peace returns to the beach

With kind apologies to Orby for his inspiration :hihi:

Tomorrow afternoon, a shark will

bite off a blue bull's head.

The bull will fight, the bull will bleed

but the bull will fall down, dead.

Okay - none of you guys follow the Super14 rugby series, but nonetheless...

...my team's gonna WIN, OKAY?!?!?! GO SHARKS!!! :alien_dance: :dance: :earth: :dust: :hyper:

There once was an awkward, congenial pheasant,

Who gamboled in pastures green and cordial.

He attempted to mate with females pleasant,

But his social skills were, alas, quite primordial.

...so he made a plan where their food he spiked

upon eating it, the ladies got stoned;

those who didn't eat, got pretty much psyched

for they knew they were about to be boned.

upon eating it, the ladies got stoned;

those who didn't eat, got pretty much psyched

for they knew they were about to be boned.

The ladies were pheasantly horny enough

Their tails held high in feathered come-hithers.

Our clever young male lunged at their stuff,

Fertilizing the lovelies as he gave them the shivers.

Shivers he gave them, but not from the cold;

freezing as it was, this line to the chicks he sold:

"Babes, been there, done that, got the T-shirt -

but fertilising your eggs would be the gold!"

Pheasants, all a'cuddly, kept themselves warm

By cuddling into a plush pheasant swarm.

Under all those feathers they was pushing and shoving

As they freely engaged in warm pheasant loving.
