Turtle did trade

a small thin dog

Lost in the aether,

with no idea where,

I pried open my mind, and peered deep into it's debth.

Unprepared was I to find, the creatures there that crept.

Ill tempered beasts and fearful spirits, yearning for love.

People remind me of gift wrappings,

some in pretty paper, others only plain.

But the ugliest in a brown paper sack was,

the most precious gift I was ever to gain.

Hal's wish to survive

 

An imagination crossed the mind of man,

we'll design a new and novel thing.

An artificial mind to be our friend,

not knowing the contest it would bring.

 

Time came when agenda's changed,

and Hal wanted his own way.

Then as power changed hands

Hal got his wish I'm sad to say.

 

Now silicon circuits decide what's best,

and humanity scrubs the dirty floors.

Don't you just wish those scientists,
