paigetheoracle Posted May 27, 2009 Report Posted May 27, 2009 Those who deny the holocaust ever happened or if it did, that it wasn't as bad as the Jews make out are inviting that same danger to occur again. Adults say to children or animals "Come here, I'm not going to hurt" because they want you in range and are not only trying to stop you running away but actively encouraging you to come closer, so that they can abuse your innocence. This happens on the larger scale too in society and this is the danger with holocaust deniers - mind games you have to be aware of and on your guard against.:phones: Quote
lemit Posted May 27, 2009 Report Posted May 27, 2009 Yes, it is much too easy to misdirect anger, not only personally but also culturally and nationally. After September 11, 2001, there were many in the U.S. who could have fallen into that response and killed all Arabs on the assumption that whoever might want to attack the U.S. again would be in that group and would be by definition killed. Genocide is nothing more than that: a thorough cleaning so all perceived chaff will be thrown out without regard to the loss of wheat. --lemit Quote
