Kay, so I can't find any bio engineering topic, so I'm posting here.

My question is, say if a scientist stuck luminol inside a person and made such happen so that when adrenaline was released, the luminol would bond with the adrenaline and cause blood to glow. Would it be entirely plausible?

I know that a buffer would be needed to counter-act any sort of pH change in the blood. I've also heard that in order for the luminol to glow, hydroxide is needed; also, something happens to an iron molecule (it rips apart or something).

Also, how would you write the luminol-adrenaline compound? Is C19H17N4O3 aight?
