This father-daughter team hopes it can.

After Tim Browne was diagnosed with terminal colon cancer, he poured his daughter's breast milk over his corn flakes to help fight off the disease.

He and his daughter, Georgia, appeared on "Good Morning America" this morning to discuss the medical benefits of breast milk.

They believe the same antibodies that help breastfed babies ward off illness might help adults, too.

But ABC News medical contributor Dr. Marie Savard said that even though breast milk is known to have benefits and its make-up can't be reproduced, "there's no research to say those same proteins in human breast milk will benefit this man."

Do you think breast milk can cure cancer?
