C1ay Posted March 11, 2005 Report Posted March 11, 2005 Are all games played by text messages? :) Yep. You can use your own board to keep track of the pieces. I'd recommend something like GNU Chess. You can set it for 2 humans and save after each move. Quote
zadojla Posted March 11, 2005 Report Posted March 11, 2005 Was at the Chess Forum. Are all games played by text messages? :)Yup, this forum is not designed as a game forum, so playing a game is a lot like an old-fashioned snail mail postal game. There are plenty of game servers and forums where you can play live or via email, but where else could you play with your Hypograpy friends?Hey guys, has anyone thought of using Forsythe notation instead of move lists? IrishEyes Posted March 11, 2005 Report Posted March 11, 2005 I think Alexander has a joker up his sleeve...he is working on something for us.Why does that not surprise me at all? That alexander deserves some sort of medal, T. Maybe we should have one made and present it to him at HCNA05. He IS going to be there, isn't he? Quote
starrmtn001 Posted March 11, 2005 Author Report Posted March 11, 2005 Thank you very much every one. Once I learn the text translation I'll give it a shot. Quote
Killean Posted March 11, 2005 Report Posted March 11, 2005 One of the forums Admin has been kind enough to make a chess board image which is labeled by letters and numbers to use in the text relaying. http://www.hypography.com/scienceforums/attachment.php?attachmentid=121 You could use this system when challenging or accepting a challenge. Enjoy! Quote
