paigetheoracle Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 Reading an article on somebody called Harry Grindell Mathews, who produced what was called a "Death Ray", just prior to the First World War, made me wonder is its ability to stop all engine motors in their tracks, could explain UFO's sometimes carrying out the same little trick. Could it be that this same power occurs naturally like a traveling force field rather than engineered by little green men or is it possible an alien race has done what he couldn't do and make it a feasible proposition? (The article states that so much power was needed to create the effect that it had no practicable use: UK, Daily Mail, March 24th, this year) Quote
freeztar Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 Have you read the wiki article on this? Harry Grindell Matthews - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia It seems that Harry's "Death Ray" was a hoax. It's equally likely that any such behavior coming from a UFO is also a hoax. Quote

So that is why the papers are still promoting his work but nobody else is! Quote
