InfiniteNow Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 I saw your post before you edited it. You'll need to find a lawyer locally who is well versed and knowledgeable in those regulations. Otherwise, commit yourself to several months at the library becoming an expert... although, I doubt you have that much time available. Quote
Moontanman Posted July 6, 2009 Author Report Posted July 6, 2009 Unfortunately a lawyer is not part of the picture due to lack of funds.....I have one week to get ready, justice is swift, I have about decided to simply bend over and take it and go on. I think the fix is probably in..... Quote
InfiniteNow Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 Maybe... maybe not. It's not easy to tell without specifics, but you could very well be right. Either way, I'm shooting in the dark (tee hee). Perhaps you can find something relevant/useful here in the primary topics, or even one of the sub-topics shown at the top: North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission Quote
Moontanman Posted July 6, 2009 Author Report Posted July 6, 2009 Considerable loss of respect from other native fish keepers as well as being excluded from official collecting trips by State officials is also a factor. basically i collected a fish that is technically a game fish even though it not catchable by any legal means. It is just related to a similar gamefish and not a game fish it's self. The law doesn't make exceptions, most DNR agents ignore these tiny fish but this time the guy didn't and i am charged the same way as some nut who is raping the environment..... It just doesn't sit right with me.... Quote
