Noah Posted March 27, 2002 Report Posted March 27, 2002 I just took the Planets quiz, and I noticed a problem. On the question that ask "how many planets are visable without a telescope?", it said it was 4. That is incorrect. Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn (5 so far), and if you have really good vision, Uranus is visable to the naked eye. Other than that, I think the website is good. Clear skies Noah Quote
Tormod Posted March 28, 2002 Report Posted March 28, 2002 Thanks, 10_inch_ground_hugger - but are you saying the correct answer should be 5 or 6? (What is "really good eyesight")? Man, we really gotta check our quizzes better...sorry for this. Tormod Quote
Noah Posted March 29, 2002 Author Report Posted March 29, 2002 When I say "Very good eyesight" I mean extremely rare. The sixth planet is Uranus, which was discovered by a telescope, so it is so dim, that unless you have rare eyesight, perfectly dark skies, and know where to look, you won't find it. So I would say the answer is 5. Noah Quote
