jack Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 A new ad-supported search engine has been launched, touting its artificial intelligence ranking system, its partnership in China and its connections to well-known names like former Compaq CEO Eckhard Pfeiffer and chess master Gary Kasparov. Even former President Bill Clinton graced the company's launch party. Lets hope there is more goodness in it than meets the eye. Quote
Tormod Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 When is it supposed to work for real? If I go to Acoona.com and search all I get is the same results as any other search engine...and clicks are routed through Overture's servers... :cup: Their logo is butt-ugly! Quote
wildcardmy Posted March 23, 2005 Report Posted March 23, 2005 I think the artificial intelligence phrase is only used as a gimmick... i have tried it and i dont find that it is any better than google... Quote
