Has anybody here tried hypnosis?

Stress is actually good for your body as long as you have it in small amounts. Our body does need cortisol (popularly known as “stress hormone” , produced by the adrenal cortex, that is part of the adrenal gland) in order to help increase our level of intelligence and improve our memory retention. It also makes us stronger character-wise. However, chronic stress is a different story. It debilitates our immune system in the long run making us more prone to physical illnesses and even mental fatigue and emotional breakdown.

Cortisol is usually released when you are undergoing life threatening situations like dangerous situations and near death experiences. However, with the way we are living our lives today, constantly being bombarded by different stimuli and stressors, physiologically speaking, we more often than not react as if we are in grave danger. This triggers the release of cortisol by our adrenal gland. This stress hormone hinders the growth of new neurons in our hippocampus therefore preventing the proper storage of new memories into our long term memory chamber.

There have been recent studies that present evidence that letting yourself be subjected to chronic stress can indirectly lead to the death of our cells as well. What really happens is, we just tend to react so severely to our own thoughts, fears, worries and considerations. What we don’t know that this is imprinted with us for hours at a time and gets worse as we attract more of these negative stuff in our head. When everything seems very chaotic, we should learn to stop, let go, think positive and move on.

Otherwise, we are running the risk of letting our brain reduce its ability to do creative problem solving strategies. This will later on result to overall reduced brain functioning. Better save yourself all this trouble and start curtailing your stresses by always looking at the bright side of every situation, ignoring negative self-feedback and thought and feeling good. It might be hard at first seeing how we’ve been brainwashed to be negative about life but it is doable.

On the contrary, there are certain people who have been gifted with a positive temperament and a great outlook about life. But still, there are many more who just couldn’t seem to cope with life’s daily battles and eventually succumb to depression and mental illnesses. These are the people who have low self-esteem, letting themselves be exposed to harmful body chemicals released during stressful situations. When the situation becomes very unbearable and stretches for long periods of time, hypnosis and brainwave systems can offer a sure solution. They will not only improve the way you feel about yourselves, they will also help boost your brain power.

These two techniques, hypnosis and brainwave system which is also known as brain entrainment method, have been used by various people over the years and they have always worked. I tried them myself for a period of five months. I couldn’t believe myself when I aced the GMAT long after I got myself into both programs and I am now even part of Mensa. There was also hard work involved when I did my reviews and practice tests. But I believe that if it weren’t for these two techniques, I probably won’t be where I am now.

I know you can achieve the same level of success and intelligence too and probably even more. It will depend on how willing and open-minded you are and how desperate you want to change your situation. You always have the power to control your thoughts and not let stress and negativity overwhelm you. But if it gets too much, then let hypnosis and brainwave techniques help you.
