lawcat
But, isn't this marvelous discovery a "so What?" discovery? So what if there is a little bit on the left and a little bit on the right? Does that change anything? I congratulate Guadalupe for making strides in reason. That is always admirable. That is why we have schools. But in the end Guadalupe, a discovery has to be of some significance. Your's, even if new to scientific community, has none. You are proposing that we should be precise and accurate in our measurements. Thank you for that advice!
Boerseun
Well, it's not so much a "discovery" as its merely a confusion of integers with real numbers.
stereologist
I would also point out that Mandelbrot was doing something new. This line of thinking was properly studied 3000 years ago. It has been formalized in modern times by others including Peano. They disagree with your point of view.
