DigitaLMasteR_Alex Posted May 16, 2005 Report Posted May 16, 2005 I used to write in some other science forum and I just found that it became so boring, I just went on yahoo and wrote "science forums" and found this forum, I just wonder why I didn't find it be4, it's really an awesome forum Quote
rockytriton Posted May 16, 2005 Report Posted May 16, 2005 I did a google search for mathematics forums so I could ask some math questions. I think I've only asked one here though. Quote
wrong Posted May 19, 2005 Report Posted May 19, 2005 I was googling De Sitter Horizons, found here and lurked for about 6 months. One day Robust made a claim and I had to reply. I guess I dont contribute a lot but I do enjoy reading here. Quote
Dark Mind Posted May 24, 2005 Author Report Posted May 24, 2005 Maybe we should change the question to: Who didn't find this site through google? :) Quote
steph Posted May 24, 2005 Report Posted May 24, 2005 Well it's to be expected. I mean I don't know about anyone else, but I find most sites I use through google. Quote
Dark Mind Posted May 24, 2005 Author Report Posted May 24, 2005 Exactly, most people find all sites they use through any multitude of search engines, I was just wondering who has been referred to here by someone else. I know there are few people in prior posts here. Quote
Turtle Posted May 29, 2005 Report Posted May 29, 2005 ___Somewhere here I responded that I found this site searching number theory, but now that I read a few more posts in this thread my memory is jogged & I remembered I searched "science forums" too. Up to that point I was bombarding the Coast To Coast radio program & web site with my math etc. & though they had some little interest they were in no way prepared to really understand it so I came looking for a place where I might find some capable. Yeaaaaahhhh Hypography; live long & prosper. :naughty: Quote
mojassty Posted June 21, 2005 Report Posted June 21, 2005 I was looking up crackpot physics theories, and I came across this site while googling a book called "The Final Theory." It's the most interesting site I've come across in a long time. Now I while away my summer vacation surfing the forums and adding my two cents to any interesting ones I see. Quote
learnin to learn Posted July 8, 2005 Report Posted July 8, 2005 I was looking for a place where I could learn more about science, so what did I do???? I used google :esheriff: Quote
Buckyball Posted August 1, 2005 Report Posted August 1, 2005 Googling for a thermite recipie.I collected the rust but never mixed it up or anything. So yeah, google like most. Quote
infamous Posted August 6, 2005 Report Posted August 6, 2005 I was involved with another science forum and got into a really nasty debate with one of it's senior members. As it turns out, because I was relatively new there, I was treated with a great deal of disrespect. Needless to say, I found this behavior to be quite distasteful and decided to look for another forum that I could participate in. I'm happy to say, that I found Hypography though a Goggle search and have been very pleased with the civility demonstrated at this site. Quote
