lemit Posted August 30, 2009 Report Posted August 30, 2009 Biochar is little known and less understood. I wouldn't expect a market to be available right now, but with some intensive education, maybe in the future. I'm not sure I'd be in the market. My mix of guinea pig bedding and coffee grounds has produced an earthworm-rich loam in just a month or maybe six weeks the last couple years. I've been thrilled by the results. Maybe I should try to market it. That leads me to a question that should be asked in a terra preta forum. How many shortcuts to terra preta (or even terra negra) are there? Shouldn't we explore all of them? Wouldn't that be the best way to ensure that all of us are using the most appropriate materials for our own circumstances? --lemit Quote
